What are the key ingredients to growing community resilience and strength? How can we develop local partnerships and harness them to address the need of families? Cross-sector efforts are essential to addressing and preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and build community resilience.
In this interactive session, participants will:
Use local data to build a shared understanding of the Pair of ACEs tree – Adverse Childhood Experiences rooted in Adverse Community Environments.
Examine the systemic inequities that create poor “soil” (adverse community environments) and the policy changes needed to build community resilience.
Begin to identify shared goals and cross-sector strategies to create the CORE Conditions for Health & Well-being that are essential to thriving families and community resilience.
Create or deepen connections with other community, organizational, and coalition leaders who are working toward a shared vision of a thriving, resilient, equitable community for all children and families.
